Physiotherapist
We have two physiotherapists working within the Medical Centre. Appointment times are available from reception. Your doctor may refer you to physiotherapy for the treatment.
If you wish to self refer to the physiotherapy department please speak to one of the reception team.

District Nurses
The District Nursing team provide high quality nursing care in the community on weekdays between 8.30am and 5pm. They can be contacted on 01224 781255. After 5pm and at weekends a District Nurse is on call for emergencies and can be contacted by calling 01569 792000, or by contacting NHS24 on 111.
Their services are primarily within the domestic setting, for those too ill to attend the Practice Nurse, and tailored to the patient’s needs. Specialist areas include skin and wound care, acute and chronic disease management and nursing the terminally ill. Our community nurses provide a variety of medical and nursing services including the removal of stitches, dressings, blood sampling, general health advice, etc.
Health Visiting
Health visitors are specialist nurses who have responsibility for child health surveillance and all aspects of health promotion in the community. Our health visitor hours of work are 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays.

Midwifery
The midwives provide specialist nursing in all aspects of ante natal and post natal care. Details of clinics can be obtained from reception.
